Businesswoman who has Overcome Adversity Named a Finalist in Woman Who Achieves Awards
Sam Hallett, Founding Director and Business Protection Specialist of Enable Life has made it through to the finals in the Women who Achieves Solopreneur awards for Overcoming Adversity category in an award which supports and celebrates the success of Women.
“I am extremely delighted to have received an email from the award founder Sandra Garlick MBE saying that I’d made the finals in the category Overcoming Adversity 2020 for Solopreneur Woman Who Awards. I was excited when I heard the news and am very proud and very grateful as this one is quite special, standing alongside other women who have faced adversity and are growing successful businesses. In my eyes we are already winners from what we have already achieved, I wish my fellow finalists all the very best for the future. These awards and community encourage women to achieve and grow and I’m honoured to have made the finals.”
Sam established Enable Life, a specialist insurance broker, in April 2019 after recovering from a chronic illness which forced her to resign from her previous corporate role and live off her savings as she had no insurance protection in place to assist her. Adds Sam, “Health and wellbeing, including financial wellbeing, is now an absolute passion of mine. My story is far from unusual and with my company I want to help our clients avoid the mistakes I made and protect themselves, their businesses, employees and families.”
Sandra Garlick MBE Founder of the awards said, “I’m absolutely delighted with the calibre of entries this year. This truly demonstrates the amazing businesses being run by women in business sole traders and sole directors throughout the UK and beyond. Sole business owners are so often overlooked in Awards. These are the women who frequently work from home and juggle running their business with family and caring responsibilities. I’m so glad that I don’t have to judge them. It’s going to be a really tough job ahead for the judges.”
Sam will find out if she’ll be crowned the winner of Overcoming Adversity category on the 16th October 2020.
