I knew Sam through networking for quite a while before I actually needed her help, and it wasn’t until I started speaking with her that I really got to understand the breadth of her knowledge and the level of professionalism and passion she has for her craft.
I was new to having to review private medical health insurance for a company, and welcomed any advice, but I found that Sam really listened to all the key aspects of what I needed taking into account, so the fact that there were claims in progress, that we wanted to stay with the same provider if possible. What I didn’t have a great understanding of, and that was where Sam came in, was the different areas of the policy that we could amend to suit us- so the fact we could look at the excess, and play around with that, and really get to tailor our policy to us. We were able to remove some elements that we were also providing elsewhere, through our employee cash plan, where we were in effect doubling up on the cover given. Sam’s really good insight into this policy in particular, and having a great relationship with the provider, who was able to adjust and give us plenty of variables to look at was invaluable. I really felt like I was in a safe pair of hands, and that we were going to end up in the best place for the company, and also those to which the policy was in place for, our employees and their families. In the end we were able to stay with the provider, and go forwards with a sleeker, more fit for purpose policy which gave us a saving as well! My MD was pretty chuffed with the outcome, which also bode well for me! Thanks again Sam.
